Calm, Collected, Easy
Very friendly, personable filly coming from “barn favourite” mare line. Her dam showed lightly last summer as a 3yr old with excellent dressage scores in the 60s and 70s, she is now being used as a 4yr old with the kiddos in our lesson program.
Her dam’s half brother was sold to the Dominican Republic in 2024 with fantastic feedback from everyone involved with his move. Her Grand-dam is our steady eddie beginner pony and confidence booster.
I expect this filly to be just like her Dam and Grand-Dam – the type you take out when you want a relaxing, fun day with no fuss or extra excitement.
This family produces nice JR or AA suitable ponies.

Her sire is Cool Down, our imported young GRP stallion by Cosmopolitan D. Another very nicely mannered pony with insane athleticism and scope. I am very excited to add these top pony bloodlines and quality to our sport curly breeding.

Cool Down is consistent in putting good toplines, gait improvement and quiet “born broke” demeanours onto his foals. These have been some of the easiest foals I have ever worked with.

Chanel is halter and foot broke, can be touched anywhere, especially loves grooming. Trailers well, quiet in the barn, unconcerned about being on her own.
UTD on all health and foot care.
Not only does Chanel have that “unicorn” dream pony personality, she is also an exceptionally nice balanced mover with a big step and good reach underneath and excellent form over fences. Video is available.

I would love to see Chanel head into a serious home with intent to bring her up for a show career where we can watch her flourish.
She is being softly listed because we cannot keep them all however I would not be upset if she sticks around to develop with us here. I cannot make ponies like this every day and she could be a great herd building asset as well as a show pony.

*Rare Hypoallergenic Traits*

In addition to her spot pony pedigree this filly comes directly from our KRT25 curly line. While she herself does not appear to have inherited curls, she absolutely has what Curly breeders describe as “bunny fur” – she is as soft as a bunny to touch. Perhaps we should have named her Cashmere but I have been saving that name for a Curly coated “C” line filly.

The science behind the reason why is unknown at this time but many allergy sufferers have reportedly found the smooth coated offspring from a Curly parent to still have hypoallergenic properties compared to the reactions they have with “normal” horses. Test trials of course are always recommended to confirm the right fit for each individual.

$13,000 CAD / $9400 USD – American buyers can take advantage of the great exchange rate, price includes export documentation. We have done many cross border sales and are willing to assist with shipping arrangements

**We do have a second version of this pairing on the way for 2027**
