HD Pride’s Serafina is a registered 4-year-old palomino Missouri Fox Trotter mare who is very naturally gaited with a beautiful curly coat. Serafina is sound, healthy, and an easy keeper. She has had regular and attentive veterinary care and is up to date on vaccinations and deworming. Currently barefoot and comfortable on gravel. She has a well-balanced build and a versatile height that suits a wide range of riders: she currently measures 14.2hh and we expect her to grow a bit more (parents are 14.3 and 15.2). Serafina has been consistently handled since birth and has a solid foundation in basic groundwork. Lightly introduced to a rider, she remains a clean slate, ready to begin training in the direction you choose. She shows excellent potential as a trail mount and all-around prospect. She has had light trailer exposure. Like many young horses, Serafina can be cautious in new surroundings but has shown appropriate, manageable reactions and continues to build confidence with consistent handling. Serafina is visually striking, and often the first horse people notice in the barn. Her richly textured seasonal coat and full double curly mane represent curly genetics at their best, and her palomino coloring is exquisite, with white-gold curls in winter shedding out to rose-gold dapples in summer. Serafina is registered with the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Breed Association (MFTHBA) and the American Bashkir Curly Registry (ABC), and is also eligible for registration with the International Curly Horse Organization (ICHO).
