Description
TIMBER is a coming 4 year old duly registered in the BLOOD PERCENTAGE BOOK STRAIGHT DIVISION of the American Bashkir Curly Registry as 3/4
Bashkir Curly. His mane and tail are wavy.
I believe Timber is hypoallergenic as my daughter is allergic to horses and she’s not reactive.
Timber has had 60 days of in hand training
which included decentralizing, ground driving, walking through town, in hand obstacles, and ponying through water.
At 3 he was lightly started with a few rides at a walk and slow trot by Clint Surplus of Tumalo, OR
Timbers been going down the trail for the past 6 months. He has been out with other horses and has been out alone. He has lead the pack and followed. He is doing well and enjoys his outings. His rider is an experienced horse woman that rides English.
Timber was stared under western tack.
At 68 I see I can’t offer him the lifestyle he needs and desires.
Timber has a bright mind and likes to be busy. He will need an active lifestyle with a person that can give him a job and at least a large pen. He would hate living in a stall.
I believe Timber would excel as an endurance horse. He’s tall, lean, has an amazing floating trot, and at
times displays a gait.
His teeth were done last fall by a Vet
specializing only in equine dentistry.
He is current on vaccines, worming, and hoof care.
Timber loads, hauls, and ties very well.
He’s good with his feet and vet care.
He walks right into a stall even though he’s not stalled. He would not be happy stalled.
He loves attention and grooming.
He works in a 60’ round pen at liberty or on a line and in an open arena or field on a line.
He’s being feed Orchard grass field mix hay with
pasture turn outs and loves his evening mash.
If you’re an active horse person and can provide this amazing horse with the lifestyle he needs please contact me.
